In a word, Raver's Nature is probably THE Rave-Act. Their first singles, "The Spirit Of Technology" and "Secret Of Frequencies" came out under the label Bash, which grew pale a long time ago, and sold 1500 copies. That was in 1992. Today Raver's Nature is the most popular Live Act of the republic at Camel Move Award, and they've just marched forward to Place 27 in the sale charts with Take Off, and Roy Ströbel and his men Pedro Ferrari and John Bogota are just bringing the next hit-single Stop Scratchin' and they're working on their LP. MC and superbrain Roy Ströbel counts by the fans as merriness-hardliner, with his critics as the Stalinist of the happysounds. The Bavarian "primary rock" of Techno, wearing glasses, being freakish:

FP: How would you explain your standing as successful Rave-Act?

Roy: Success is relative. I look at the live acts in the scene and just say: something happens on the stage by us. We're jumping and bounding. Raver's Nature is pure merriness. We animate the people to celebrate and that's how it's different from being a DJ. There are liveacts, who really play live and then they just concentrate on the keyboards and they offer nothing for the eyes. That's okay and I admire Rob Acid as best liveact. But when someone uses only a DAT-Band and then idioticly beats on his fake-keyboards, I can't admire those at all. We animate the people.

What's the difference between you and Gottlieb Wendehals?

The age.

I see and how about Scooter?

They speak to an other layer of customers: the ones fallen behind. We wouldn't like to be judged by the same standard, we make our sound logically since 1991 and we develop it further. Their success, which is due to the "original" idea, relies on the Annihilating Rhythm track. I'd like to say no more about Scooter...

Do you consider yourselves as a typical Low Spirit act?

Yes. Low Spirit was always a partylabel for me. And the sublabel Fire reminds of celebration with its name (in German the word for celebration is Feiern, which sounds just like Fire - Peter). Raver's Nature was always celebration-music.

How did you mean the title of your new single, Stop Scratchin'? Is it an answer to Star Wash - Disco Fans?

I can't say that. It's more like a message to all hip-hoppers and rappers. We get you... The rave scene became big. Many people complain about the too young audience. I have nothing against that. It would be a sad picture when only those would be there who were there five years before. Makes one shake.

Is the ravescene disrupted?

Well, what really makes me mad is when the epigons of house music, all George Morels and Armand Van Heldens of the world, who make classic house music which existed 10 years ago, are now the great innovations conjured up from the hat. All these Strictly House, Harmony House and other ... tours (there was a word, which was not written completely, like sp..... - Peter). It's less admirable when one sees all possible Rednex and Ace Of Base remixes on the recordshelves from the same persons. Some people have records, which are guaranteed to remember unlike all Dancemania B-Sides, and I don't really like those.
